The VANTA Flux is will appeal to new or recreational padel players as it has been designed specifically with that group of players in mind.I have not progressed to beginner yet, as I am currently more experienced with watching it, not playing it; and even that I am a beginner at.The Racket itself is made with a T700 carbon frame, a softer Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) core and fibreglass face, all aimed at beginners to make it easier to use. The frame is orange and it has a white face which are very aesthetically pleasing to look at.The Flux padel racket feels good in the hand, and light too, this should make it easier to play with for new players. I'm pleased with this racket as it is well made and good quality.It feels sturdy and long lasting so I think it is great value for money as won't need constant replacing(unlike my current cheap racket).It is solid but lightweight making it both comfortable and powerful to use.I have found the arm gives me good control and the carbon face helps to give clean hits and extra force.It is easy to set up,I like the fact that the bundle has everything you need to get going.I think it is worth the price tag as a great racket set for all abilities.

To be completely honest, I am not a massive fan of the bright orange colour scheme or the loud icons running down the side of this racket, but that is just because I prefer a more minimalist look and it obviously does absolutely nothing to change how the thing actually plays on court. As a beginner just getting into padel, this has turned out to be an incredibly forgiving and arm-friendly piece of kit.The soft EVA core and fibreglass face make a massive difference if your technique isn't perfect yet. Unlike stiffer, full-carbon rackets that can feel harsh and rattle your elbow on off-centre hits, this one gives you a really soft, cushioned rebound that helps build your confidence. The round head shape keeps the sweet spot right in the dead centre, making it way easier to control your shots during fast rallies. It also has a subtle 3D hex texture on the surface which helps grip the ball nicely when you are trying to slice it or add a bit of spin. At around 355g, it feels lightweight, nimble, and easy to swing without leaving your shoulder aching the next day.The bundle comes with a load of handy extras, including a padded carry bag, a silicone undergrip, three overgrips, and a clear frame protector strip to stop the top edge getting scraped against the court walls. Unfortunately it is not currently available to order.I was lucky enough to try the full current padel bat range from Vanta - the Flux, the Pulse and the Surge rackets. This Flux model is the lowest spec in the range but at £120 is still a serious bat.It is marketed as for new and recreational players. I agree. It is forgiving, has decent levels of control (e. g. for spin) but does lack top power compared to other rackets I've tried.The look is good in orange and white but the racket is a little softer compared to some.Weight is decent at around 360grams and this one is a more normal shape compared to the top of the range Surge, which is tear-drop shaped.One really nice thing about this set is that you get everything you need - a really nice protective carry case with shoulder strap and internal zip pocket. You also get spare grip tapes, and outer grip sleeve if you want to go all out with grip, a protector strip for the racket head edge and also a sweat band (bright orange). That really is a full set of accessories.I love that this is from a British engineered firm. Everything feels nicely made down to the nice racket grip.I'm hard pushed however to recommend this as a beginner bat, especially at £120. To me that is not beginner bat pricing and I think there are better rackets to be had at that sort of price, including from well-established panels brands.Overall it's 4 stars from me for the Flux.

Up until now I have mostly been using the rackets available for hire at my local sports centre, so I was pleased to receive this VANTA FLUX padel racket bundle through the Vine programme to try out.My first impression was that this racket feels well made and nicely balanced. It is lightweight and comfortable to swing, making it easy to manoeuvre around the court, especially during longer game sessions. As this racket is aimed at newer and recreational players, I found it to be quite forgiving, particularly on shots that were not struck perfectly in the centre. The fibreglass face and EVA core seem to provide a softer, more comfortable feel than some of the more advanced rackets I have tried using, whilst still offering a good level of control and enough power for my game.This package includes several useful extras. Along with the protective carry cover, it also comes with an undergrip, replacement overgrips, a frame protector strip and an orange wrist sportsband which are nice additions and help add value to the overall package.The racket feels good quality, performs well on court and inspires confidence when playing. The included accessories are genuinely useful rather than being throwaway extras. I also think the white and orange design looks smart and stands out from the many darker-coloured rackets on the market.Overall, I am impressed with this item and would happily recommend it to beginners, recreational players or anyone looking to move on from basic hire rackets and purchase their own good quality beginner level padel racket.

Great beginners bundle with a top quality racket.The set includes:A great racket. The sweet spot is large, The grip is comfortable, good size for my size 9 hand, and has a slight sticky feel to give a secure grip. The grip leash is padded and very comfortable. The surface of the racket has a raised hexagon shape for added ball grip and spin.This is a top tier racket.

As someone who only plays padel every now and then, I normally just use whatever racket is available at the club. Using this one was a bit different but a definite improvement. It feels much softer, more forgiving and easier to use than the worn-out rackets I usually end up playing with. Even though it is aimed at more casual players, it does not leave your arm feeling uncomfortable or give you that harsh feeling when you hit the ball, which is a big benefit as far as I am concerned.A lot of the easier feel comes down to the way it is made. It has a round shape, which means the weight feels more balanced rather than sitting at the top of the racket like some power-focused models. When playing, this makes it easier to control shots and keep the ball where you want it. The racket feels like it helps rather than fights you, so you can keep rallies going without having to put loads of effort into every shot. The trade-off is that if you really want to hit a big smash, you have to put more into your own swing rather than relying on the racket to do all the work.It feels steady when you hit the ball and do not move around in your hand too much, which makes a difference when you are still getting your timing right. It comes with a bunch of accessories such as wrist sweat bands and a couple of different over grips for vibration absorption and sweat control. The protective bag is really good quality and has a carrying strap. it could have been even better if they had included a decent external pocket for all of those accessories. It has a flimsy internal pocket but it’s not really big enough and its definitely not easily accessible.On the whole this is a great racket if you play occasionally and wants something comfortable and easy to use.
